Volunteers will find charitable organizations in a particular geographical area (we'll show you how), and send them the invitation letter (already written) to apply for a Jazz for Peace grant. You just need modest computer skills.
The grant takes the form of a jazz benefit concert performed by Rick DellaRatta. These popular and high quality benefit concerts, at no cost to the receiving organization, supply money that helps the organization meet its goals.
You will be making a huge contribution to helping charitable organizations reach their goals. Thank you!
FIRST see the website at www.jazzforpeace.org.
THEN fill out the volunteer page at http://www.jazzforpeace.org/volunteer. When filling out your volunteer page, make the note: inviting grant applications.

Mission Statement
Jazz For Peace is people helping people, advance to their highest potential. From promoting the use of Jazz as a universal language; to spreading peace through our "Jazz For Peace Concerts" worldwide. We are joining forces with multicultural musicians to spread peace, through the art of Jazz; and entering regions that are politically controversial. Jazz For Peace provides live concerts, video taping, hands on & online teaching; and musical instrument equipment to under privileged children worldwide. Jazz For Peace reinforces what history has proven, ... "Jazz creates a positive effect that transforms & unites people; thus transending the barriers of different cultures & beliefs."
Description
Rick DellaRatta and Jazz for Peace performed at the United Nations in New York on September 25, 2002. He led a band consisting of Israeli, Middle Eastern, European, Asian and American musicians in concert for an international audience in what is now considered "one of the most significant cultural events of our time!" This U.N. Concert has led to a benefit concert series that has gone on to raise funds, publicity and awareness for over 400 non-profit organizations as well as an Educational Program to bring jazz back into the schools and donate musical instruments to underprivileged children.
Over the past year Jazz for Peace has garnered support and praise from distinguished Americans such as Senator John McCain, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, activist Noam Chomsky, NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and many more along with music lovers and humanitarians worldwide of all ages and nationalities!
