Mira merges the strengths of online technology and traditional philanthropy. We collaborate with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in developing countries that are restricted in their capacity to fundraise for educational programs and invite them to showcase their overall concept and a specific funding request on our site.

When donors fulfill the goal of these mini-campaigns, Mira forwards 100% of the funds to the projects' organizers. Mira doesn't demarcate how the money will be spent, and firmly supports only community-led initiatives. The original organizations then use these donations to implement their plans in way they described when registering with Mira; from here, Mira informs donors via online photo and story updates on the progress of the students' journeys and the communities which the donors are directly impacting.

In short, Mira is a catalyst for students to reach their academic goals and everyday internet users to easily support international development from the home.
